The Ireland African Music Awards (IAMA) is an important way to promote and celebrate African Music, Entertainment, Arts and Culture in Ireland's new cultural diversity that has changed significantly in recent years.
The Awards are about the people, groups, events, companies that have promoted African arts and culture through music and entertainment within our new and evolving multi-cultural Irish society, especially in this tough economic time.
The IAMA Awards showcase the positive effects that multiculturalism is having on Irish society and recognise the contribution of groups and individuals who are driving a broad range of initiatives in the area of diversity and promotion of our beautiful heritage.
