Lagos Flood has so far killed over 25 people, including 11 children
The city of Lagos witnessed heavy downpour on July 10th which led to severe property damage. We posted up a few photos of some affected areas and I must say it was nothing to write home about. So far 25 corpses have been recovered in various parts of Lagos, including 11 children. Five corpses were recovered from a canal at Dopemu area, while another seven were recovered from another canal in Aboru, Alimosho LGA. Unfortunately for some people, they died in the process of trying to manoeuvre through the flood and ended up in a ditch. Reports say this rain is the worst to hit Lagos in a long time. Below is a picture of Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola (left, wearing a blue jacket) and his team inspecting an affected area
