In the wake of a shocking suicide attempt early last week, Amber Portwood had an emotional reunion with her two-year-old daughter, Leah, this morning.
Leah's dad, Gary Shirley, has physical custody of the toddler, and Amber's supposed to have supervised visitation one day every week for two hours.
This, presumably, was that day. Amber and Gary have a turbulent relationship, to say the least, but he insists he is fully pro-Amber after recent events.
An eyewitness reports that, “Maybe there was an official from Child Protective Services inside her house, but I didn’t see anyone else outside with Amber and Leah except someone who looked like an MTV cameraman!"
Amber said yesterday that she will be going to rehab for her anger and anxiety issues in the near future. For her own sake as well as her relationship with this adorable little girl, that decision comes not a moment too soon.
